This project highlights our commitment to blending modern development with historical preservation. For this mid-rise mixed-use commercial and residential building, a strategic partial demolition while preserving the heritage structure was executed, ensuring it remained integral to the new design. Our team meticulously developed demolition, bracing, and shoring plans to support the building throughout the transition safely. A tailored combination of timber and structural steel bracing and custom basement wall shoring was used, allowing for the safe operation of 70-ton drill rigs. Our extensive experience in structural engineering enabled us to design a plan that perfectly balanced safety, heritage retention, and modern development.
